homemade chocolate frosting

I got this homemade chocolate frosting recipe from my friend. My husband is the biggest fan of chocolate and everything that has to do with it. No matter what dessert he has, if it’s not chocolate, it won’t make him happy. I’m not a big fan of chocolate, so I decided to find a compromise. I’ve got a quick and easy homemade chocolate frosting recipe to decorate all my cakes and tarts. I think you don’t have to make the whole thing from chocolate. Any kind of cake or filling goes! If there is a good chocolate frosting on top, everyone will be happy.

This homemade chocolate frosting is quick, easy and simple to follow using black quality chocolate and cream. It is great for cupcakes, cakes, pies, and tarts. I made Chocolate layer cake with this homemade chocolate frosting. It turned out great.

Homemade Chocolate Frosting Recipe

For this chocolate frosting, you’ll need the following ingredients

Ingredients:

10.5 oz or 300 g your favorite dark quality chocolate

10.5 oz or 300 g heavy whipping cream

Instructions

Pour the cream into a saucepan and heat until boiling. Once it starts to boil, pour the cream into a bowl and add small pieces of chocolate. Wait a few minutes until the chocolate melts. Mix it and immediately pour it on the cake. If you let it hang out longer, the frosting will set and you will have to apply it with a spatula. You won’t be able to make beautiful chocolate icicles with hardened frosting.

Decorate the top and sides with chopped nuts if you wish, or any of your favorite things. You should do it right away after you pour homemade chocolate frosting. I mean while the frosting hasn’t set. You can make whipped cream decorations on top as well. Enjoy!
