2 handfuls of spinach leaves

2 kale leaves

1 banana

handful of pineapple (melon/orange/apple/ kiwi/mango/persimmon)

a handful of mango

2 cups water

How to make Island green smoothie:

  1. Wash all fruits and greens, drain.
  2. Blend everything in a high-powered blender until smooth.
  3. Wait 30 minutes before you have fruit or your lunch after having the Island green smoothie.

After you’ve made your smoothie, pour it into a mason jar and close it with a lid. You can keep it in plastic juice bottles or shaker bottle. I recommend you fill the container to the very top to prevent air from being trapped in the container. The air oxidizes the nutrients in your smoothie, degrading its nutritional value.
