Allergies are most noticeable on the face skin. Allergy is not a skin disease, it is a reaction to substances, poisons or other things that your body doesn’t like. Our face skin simply reflects it. It has no beneficial properties that can help your face skin. It covers skin as a layer that feels pleasant and smooth, but in the end it pulls out your skin’s moisture. Daily application of synthetic creams can lead to different skin problems even if they are not immediately noticeable.

Using silicones visually smooths your hair, but eventually accumulates plaque on the scalp and isolates your hair from feeding, causing its breaking and scalp skin itching. Oily skin cleansers and tonics with synthetic alcohols irritate the scalp, damage the protective skin layer and thus open the way for infections and stimulate sebum production. So they do the opposite of what they should do, right?

Take care of your skin

Using synthetic beauty products can harm your face skin. Choose natural cosmetics certified with eco-labels. Be sure to protect your face from strong winds, cold, sunburn, chlorinated water, high pollution, and dry air. To protect your face skin, apply creams with shea butter, coconut, jojoba oil, lanolin, beeswax. Choose creams that contain antioxidants in their formula. Such as rosehip seeds, avocados, sea buckthorn oils, grapefruit seeds, green tea extracts. Your skin doesn’t like the hot sun, but without the sun at all, skin also suffers. When there isn’t enough vitamin D and fresh air, the skin doesn’t look healthy.

Winter skincare

For those who live in areas where there are cold winters, one of the biggest problems for the skin is the lack of sun and very dry indoor air during the heating season. Our skin needs to be well moisturized from outside and inside. Drink water every day, moisturize your skin with mineral or flower water in the morning and evening, also during the day, if it is very dry. You can also buy a humidifier.

Nutrition and the face skin

The healthier our diet is, the more beautiful our skin looks. Our face and body skin suffer from an excess of toxins, a lack of water, and a lack of nutrients. So the same rule applies in the diet and in cosmetics: avoid unhealthy foods that are high in allergens and aggressive substances that disrupt the body’s balance and harm good gut bacteria.

Many food additives damage our body and face skin: preservatives, dyes, fragrances, and flavor enhancers; agricultural chemicals: growth hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, hydrogenated fats, and refined products. If you want to keep your skin and body healthy – drink clean water, eat uncooked foods rich in minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and other life-sustaining substances, as well as fiber. These are organically grown fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, as well as herbs, legumes, whole grain products, premium-quality oils.

Having beautiful skin is not just about beauty. Beautiful skin is a reflection of a woman’s health and inner harmony. So it’s definitely worth the effort.
